We have gathered, and will continue to gather, a list of Tolkien websites that are educational, inspiring, helpful, beautiful, and just plain fun.
We feel they are the best of the best. If you see that we have missed one that you think qualifies to be in this grouping for Tolkien studies, please let us know. Either PM Riv Res, or email her at rivres@middle-earth-journeys.com

Ardalambion
Elvish language website. Although Tolkien invented his 14 separate languages simply to enhance his stories of Middle-earth, and not necessarily to be spoken...this website can almost teach you how to speak Elvish...be it Quenya, or Sindarin, Sylvan or even Rohirric.
John Howe
One of the most delightful Tolkien-related websites on the net. The incomparable John Howe shares his Tolkien art, and his wisdom and wit.
Maps of Middle-earth
Hosted by councilofelrond.com, this is one of the better collections on the internet. You can't travel through Middle-earth without a map.
Rolozo Tolkien
A great resource of both professional and amateur Tolkien artists and illustrators. Searchable by artist, book illustration, character and much, much more.
The Compleat Gyde to Tolkien Calendars
Wonderful and very extensive collection of Tolkien Calendars from around the world, including many rarities.
Tolkien Library
The Tolkien Library is a great source of bibliographical information and reviews for all collectors of Tolkien's books.
Tolkien Society
This is the official British branch of The Tolkien Society and their website...a treasure trove of Tolkien news, activities, events, and information. We will try to keep up with them and other worldwide branches on our Tolkien Society thread.
